Arsenal's surprise win over Chelsea on Sunday has taken some of the pressure off manager Mikel Arteta.
But the Gunners boss is still expected to strengthen when the January transfer window opens next week.
Arsenal have lacked creativity in the absence of exiled Mesut Ozil, and Arteta looks set to seek out an attacking midfielder in the January sales.
And there have also been calls for the manager to sign a new striker, with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette having struggled for goals this season.
With departures also potentially on the cards, here are the latest Arsenal transfer rumours.
Arsenal eye Aouar alternatives
Barcelona's Riqui Puig and Julian Brandt of Borussia Dortmund are the latest players to be linked with Arsenal as Mikel Arteta looks to add more creativity to his side.
Houssem Aouar has been on the Gunners' radar since last summer, when Lyon stuck to their guns over their £55m price tag.
And Puig and Brandt have been identified as potential alternatives, according to The Athletic.
Puig, 21, has been watched on several occasions by Gunners scouts, and will be allowed to leave Ronald Koeman's side when the window opens.
Brandt, 24, impressed in his first season for Dortmund after joining from Bayer Leverkusen last year, but has struggled to reproduce his best form this term.
Fears Partey grudge could scupper Diego Costa deal

Arsenal have been linked with a surprise move for former Chelsea striker Diego Costa.
The 32-year-old has suffered injury problems since returning to Atletico Madrid in 2018 and has dropped down the pecking order at the Wanda Metropolitano.
According to Spanish publication AS, he has been told he can leave in January, and Arsenal are monitoring his situation with Mikel Arteta needing to add more firepower.
But the Gunners may find Atletico reluctant to do a deal following Thomas Partey's switch to the Emirates in October.
The La Liga side were reportedly unhappy that Arsenal waited until the last day of the transfer window to trigger Partey's £45million release clause - and that could affect any talks over Costa.
Defender closes in on exit after 'positive talks'

Sokratis Papastathopoulos could be on the verge of leaving Arsenal after 'positive talks' with Fenerbahce.
That's according to a report from Hurriyet, which claims the Turkish Super Lig outfit want to sign the defender for free when his contract expires at the end of this season.
Sokratis, who has not played at all this season, can sign a pre-contract agreement with a club from abroad once the transfer window opens next week.
And while Arsenal would surely prefer to receive a fee, a move for the centre-back will at least clear his £92,000-per-week paypacket from the wage bill.
