Arsenal transfer news latest: Malcom, Wilfried Zaha, Dani Ceballos, Kieran Tierney, Alexandre Lacazette

Arsenal have apparently been offered a fresh alternative to Wilfried Zaha as Unai Emery searches for reinforcements this summer.

An opening bid of £40m for the wide man was dismissed out of hand by Crystal Palace with the club seeing it as an intentional attempt to unsettle the Ivorian.

The Mirror are reporting that the south London club may cut all communications with the Gunners unless there is a significant improvement in their offer.

There were suggestions that they could offer players as well as a transfer fee for the player but the Eagles stance is unmoved.

Zaha is desperate to make the move with his brother recently describing the move as a "dream".

With that in mind Barcelona have offered Malcom on loan for the year.

The Brazilian made only 15 league appearances last season as he struggled for form and fitness after his €40m move from Bordeaux.

Meanwhile the Gunners are one of a number of clubs monitoring the situation of Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.

The 22-year-old starred for Spain in the recent Under-21 Euros and as Real look to recoup some cash from their fringe players could be available for the right price.

Marca say Arsenal are joined by Liverpool and Tottenham in the race for his signature.

Arsenal will also face stiff competition from Napoli in their efforts to sign Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney.

The Gunners have already had a £15m bid rejected and the Scottish Sun has reported that the Italian club are ready to out-bid Arsenal for the Scot’s signature.

Emery is in desperate need for new faces this summer with Tierney one of his No 1 priorities.

The Mirror have also reported that Alexandre Lacazette is a target for Atlético Madrid as a replacement for the Barcelona-bound Antoine Griezmann but Arsenal are reluctant to sell the Frenchman.

In other outgoings, young defender Daniel Ballard has joined Swindon Town on a season-long loan.

L’Equipe are also reporting that Bordeaux have made Laurent Koscielny their primary transfer target this summer with Arsenal demanding at least €10m for the 33-year-old.
