Arsenal transfer gossip: Winger set for medical as Gunners bid to do second deal

Arsenal have reportedly lined up a medical for Gremio winger Everton Soares after the Brazil international caught the eye at the recent Copa America.

The 23-year-old was a key part of the Selecao squad that triumphed on home soil in the continental competition earlier this month and was named player of the tournament.

The forward finished as the tournament's top scorer after netting three goals which alerted many to the potential of the £36m-rated attacker.

Fox Sports Brasil report that the Gunners have sent medical staff to Brazil to conduct tests on the 23-year-old as they close in on a second signing of the summer.

Arsenal 'close on Dani Ceballos signing'

Arsenal are 'one step away' from sealing a deal for Real Madrid star Dani Ceballos, according to reports.

The Gunners are reportedly set to seal a loan move for the Spanish international after seeing his playing time dwindle at the Bernabeu.

And Spanish publication AS say Ceballos has now decided on a switch to the Premier League, and the north Londoners are in pole position to secure his services.

Unai Emery has allegedly shown huge personal interest in taking Ceballos to the Emirates, which is understood to be a key factor in the potential move.

Arsenal drop hint over Mesut Ozil's future in kit launch

Mesut Ozil helped launch Arsenal's new away kit despite being linked with a summer exit (Arsenal)

Arsenal have unveiled their new away kit which has been inspired by the iconic ‘bruised banana’ reverse strip worn by the club in the early 90s, dropping a hint over Mesut Ozil's futute in the process.

The Gunners have switched from Puma to Adidas and have made sure that their debut design with their new kit maker is one to remember.

And if the kit launch wasn't enough to get Gunners fans excited, the fact that Ozil featured in the unveiling snaps may boost their mood.

Ozil has been linked with a summer exit but the fact the German was one of the models to pose in the new shirt suggests he may well remain in north London next season.
