The Gunners are not expected to sign a midfielder, however, with a deal for Houssem Aouar seemingly off despite links to the Frenchman throughout the window.
Departures are expected and the situation around Ainsley Maitland-Niles continues to intrigue as he attempts to force his way out of Arsenal and secure a loan move to Everton.
Hector Bellerin, Alex Runarsson and Reiss Nelson are also being lined up to move on loan, while Mohamed Elneny, Sead Kolasinac and Eddie Nketiah have also been linked with potential exits.
