Arsenal technical director Edu has sent a message following the club's dramatic late swoop to sign Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid.
With little time remaining in the transfer window, it seemed as if the Gunners would miss out on one of their top targets.
However, after negotiations with Atletico did not progress, Arsenal decided to activate the £45million buyout clause in the Ghana international's contract.
Partey is due to join up with his national team for the international break after completing a late medical and completing his move late on Monday night.
Following the successful completion of the deal, Edu took to Instagram to send a message about some members of the Gunners' staff who do not regularly receive attention and praise.
"Sometimes we get things wrong and sometimes we get it right as part of our life," he stated in a post featuring a picture of Arsenal's back-room staff.
"But when you work with dedication and love things happen! Let's continue.
"Part of the team that many people don't see. 24 hours non-stop!"
Partey has opted for the No.18 shirt in North London, and could make his debut in the trip to face Manchester City in the Premier League on October 17.
Arsenal were also keen to bring in Lyon star Houssem Aouar in the transfer window, but could not agree a deal with the Ligue 1 side.
The midfielder stated after Lyon's clash against Marseille on Sunday that he was ready to stay in France.
He said: "I felt that I could still bring things to this team and the club, the club that raised me, quite simply."
