Arsenal told Stan Kroenke will inject 'more money' into club after LA Rams Super Bowl victory

Stan Kroenke was seen in a rare moment of jubilation on Sunday evening as his LA Rams side lifted the Super Bowl LVI after a 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Kroenke, who took full ownership control of Arsenal in 2018, is also the owner of the NFL franchise and has been since 2010.

Gooners had split opinions on the Super Bowl on whether they wanted Stan’s franchise to win, due to the displeasure they have had with the American’s handling of the north London since he took ownership of the club.

The Arsenal and Rams owner was seen taking part in an interview after the NFL’s side victory before the Superbowl, which is a sight that Gunners fans rarely see.

Despite Stan’s close relationship with the Rams, his careless nature as the owner of Arsenal Football Club was epitomized when Arteta had flown to Colorado to meet with the American businessman, instead of it being the other way round.

However, The Arsenal Way's Bailey Keogh and Umar Choudhry spoke with the CEO of Downtown Rams, Jake Ellenbogen in a special Stan Kroenke-focused episode to delve into the impact the Super Bowl result would have on Arsenal.

Ellenbogen spoke about how Arsenal could potentially benefit financially after the Rams’ victory on Sunday evening.

“If you win a Super Bowl, you have more funds so if the Rams win, all of a sudden the Rams are a well-oiled machine, as they won the prize from the Super Bowl.” He said.

“Kroenke seeing the money coming in after the winning the Super Bowl in the second season at this brand new facility, and then all of a sudden Kroenke has even more money, and he’ll have the opportunity to put more money into Arsenal.”

Ellenbogen then went on to speak about how Kroenke could be motivated to replicate the success of a Super Bowl with Arsenal and their competitions

“It’s a status symbol, it is why these owners have teams in bulk when they don’t actually do anything about it, and Kroenke could be guilty of doing the same with Arsenal.”

"But after seeing the funding work to a Championship winning season, it could give the feeling to want to do the same with Arsenal.”
