Arsenal told how much it will cost to sign Dani Ceballos on a permanent deal

Dani Ceballos has become a fans' favourite at the Emirates Stadium.

The Spanish midfielder joined Arsenal on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid in the summer, with Los Blancos changing their mind over the transfer of the youngster.

Ceballos was way down the pecking order at the Bernabeu and there was a suggestion that they would let him leave the club permanently.

However, following a starring role for Spain's U21s at the European Championships, Madrid changed their mind and would only allow him to leave on loan, with Arsenal snapping him up amid interest from other clubs, including north London rivals Tottenham.

But could Arsenal actually make the move permanent next summer?

The Spaniard has one goal and two assists to his name in an Arsenal shirt so far this season, although he has only made six starts in all competitions, five five other appearances coming from the substitutes' bench.

According to El Desmarque , Arsenal are interested in signing the 23-year-old and have put forward and opening bid of €30million.

However, Real Madrid are after a fee of more like €35million. The reports in Spain suggest Real president Florentino Perez remains reluctant to let the midfielder leave the Bernabeu, but with limited playing time under Zinedine Zidane, he does not appear to have much of a future in the Spanish capital.

Arsenal fans would certainly be happy to see him sign in north London permanently.
