Arsenal to finish above Tottenham as 2020/21 Premier League table predicted

The 2019/20 Premier League campaign finished with differing emotions for the top clubs in London.

Arsenal ended eighth in the Premier League but won the FA Cup final against Chelsea, although the Blues enjoyed a much better league season and landed fourth.

Tottenham, meanwhile, were nowhere near their title aspirations and missed out on the top four for the first time in four seasons, ending back in sixth.

But this month now offers a chance for those teams to earn some respite and improve their squads during the summer window.

The big question now ahead of the 2020/21 league restart is what the final table will end up looking like?

Sporting Index have provided their view on what will happen next season thanks to their points prediction - and it's good news for Chelsea.

The Blues are backed to make the Premier League top four once again, though such a result might be lower than the club's expectations following the signings of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.

But Frank Lampard's men are still at least expected to finish about both Arsenal and Tottenham on the predictor, with the Gunners backed to edge out Tottenham to finish fifth.

Man City are down as title winners, Liverpool in second and Manchester United in third.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are predicted to finish in 16th and Fulham to suffer relegation as basement dwellers.
