Arsenal team news and injury updates: Bukayo Saka back for West Ham clash; WIllian faces late fitness test

Arsenal have confirmed that Bukayo Saka is fit to face West Ham, while Willian will face a late fitness test ahead of Sunday’s Premier League London derby.

Saka sustained a hamstring injury during last Sunday’s north London derby win over Tottenham, and missed Thursday’s Europa League home defeat to Olympiacos as a precaution.

However, the England international is now ready to return to boost for Mikel Arteta, with the Gunners looking flat on Thursday.

As for Willian, the Brazilian missed the Olympiacos loss with a tight calf and will face a late fitness test ahead of Sunday’s trip to London Stadium - but the rest of the squad is available for Arteta.

A statement on Arsenal’s website read: “Bukayo Saka. Right hamstring. As a precaution, Bukayo was left out of squad to play Olympiacos on Thursday.

“During this week, Bukayo has responded well to treatment, has participated in training and is now available for selection.

“Willian. Left calf. Willian missed Thursday’s match with Olympiacos due to a tight calf.

“Willian is recovering well, has participated in training and will be assessed ahead of Sunday’s match regarding his availability.”
