Arsenal target Ryan Fraser's Bournemouth future in limbo as Gunners hover

Bournemouth are offering Callum Wilson a big-money new deal but Arsenal target Ryan Fraser remains in limbo.

The Cherries have tabled a five-year deal worth around £100,000-a-week in a bid to tie England striker Wilson down.

But Fraser, 25, is still due to be out of contract in a year when he can quit for nothing.

Bournemouth last tabled a new contract offer in the Autumn which Fraser rejected with a view to moving on.

Arsenal are keen on the Scottish attacking ace who is high on their list of potential signings if they fail to land £80million-rated Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace.

Fraser got 14 Premier League assists last season which was only bettered by Eden Hazard with 15.

He also got seven goals and created 28 big chances.

He wants to go to a bigger club but is so important to Bournemouth they are prepared to risk losing him for nothing in a year rather than sell him this summer.

Cherries boss Eddie Howe may also table a fresh offer to Fraser but it could prove futile if his current stance continues.

Arsenal are also waiting to see if they can prise first-choice target Zaha away from Palace.

A £40 million move was rejected out of hand by Eagles bosses, but the Gunners are hoping to rely on the fact that Zaha wants the move to come to fruition.

The Ivory Coast international was today left out of a photoshoot promoting the South London side's away kit, fuelling rumours that he may leave the club this summer.
