The Arsenal Supporters' Trust has issued a statement supporting the departure of Raul Sanllehi, after his exit from the Emirates Stadium was announced on Saturday.
Sanllehi's exit represents the latest in a line of significant goings-on behind the scenes in north London, following on from the recent exits from the scouting team as part of 55 redundancies that were announced.
Vinai Venkatesham will now oversee operations at the club, while Edu and Mikel Arteta take the lead on transfers - a similar set-up to the one Arsene Wenger was involved in.
Questions will inevitably be asked about Sanllehi's departure, particularly as it was just three years ago that the new structure was put in place by then CEO Ivan Gazidis.
However, there has been criticism towards Sanllehi and the AST's statement is supportive of the verdict and Venkatesham's position at the helm.
"Over the last few months AST has raised concerns both privately and publicly with Arsenal about it’s governance structures and certain football decisions," a statement on Twitter read.
"We believe today’s announcement is a positive development for the Club.
"The AST has always found Vinai Venkatesham to be open & accountable and to recognise the importance of engaging with supporters.
"We look forward to continuing to work with him to take Arsenal forward."
