Arsenal supporters send message to Emery, Sanllehi and Edu after Nicolas Pepe's £72m transfer

Arsenal have completed the signing of Nicolas Pepe from Lille.

The 24-year-old is now the Gunners most expensive signing having cost a reported fee of £72m and is now in line to make his bow on Sunday against Barcelona in a pre-season friendly.

Four days later the summer transfer window for Premier League clubs will be closed and Arsenal fans are keen for at least one more new arrival.

Four new faces have already arrived at the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Gabriel Martinelli was first to arrive from Brazilian outfit Ituano and has already featured in pre-season, scoring on his debut in the 3-0 friendly win over Colarado Rapids.

It took a while for more transfer activity but signings two and three came on the same day with Dani Ceballos joining on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid and William Saliba completing his £27m transfer before heading back to Saint-Etienne on loan.

But links to more signings remain with a new central defender potentially the next target.

For head coach Unai Emery, head of football Raul Sanllehi and new technical director Edu, the message is quite clear.

And that's to improve the left-back position by completing a deal for Celtic's Kieran Tierney.
