Arsenal supporters noticed what Joe Willock did to Trent Alexander-Arnold in Liverpool defeat

It just wasn't to be for Arsenal against Liverpool.

The reigning Champions of Europe had too much for the north London outfit at Anfield on Saturday evening, with Mohamed Salah's brace adding to Joel Matip's header to seal a 3-1 victory.

But there were still a couple of moments that Gunners supporters liked despite the loss.

One being the performance of £72m record signing Nicolas Pepe.

According to Opta stats, the Ivorian was the first player to successfully dribble past Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk in his last 50 Premier League appearances.

Had his finishing been a tad sharper, things could have been different.

Another standout moment from the defeat was a nice piece of skill from youngster Joe Willock as he slipped the ball in between the legs of Trent Alexander-Arnold before continuing his marauding run forward.

One eagle-eyed Arsenal supporter managed to upload the clip in GIF format for other fans to enjoy on Twitter.

As expected this has garnered a strong response from fans on the social media platform.
