Arsenal supporters loved what Alexandre Lacazette did after clinching victory against Newcastle

Arsenal's impressive form continued on Monday night as they beat Newcastle United 2-0 to boost their chances of sealing a top four finish this season.

The result at the Emirates Stadium has moved the Gunners into third in the Premier League table, meaning they lead the race for Champions League qualification with seven games remaining.

However, head coach Unai Emery has warned his side must improve their form away from home if they're to finish above Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Arsenal player ratings vs Newcastle: Ramsey phenomenal, Lacazette clinical as Gunners go third

"When we were last in the table I was positive but it was difficult," the Spaniard told reporters after beating the Magpies. "Now I am the same positive, it's easier than when we were last in the table but the opposition is going to demand a lot.

"I am only thinking about the next match. Our challenge is away, we're going to play five of seven away.

"Our challenge is to be consistent away as we are at home."

Key to the Gunners' hopes of a strong end to the season will no doubt be ensuring they remain solid at the back and make the most of the chances created at the other end.

That was the case against Newcastle as Alexandre Lacazette added to Aaron Ramsey's first-half goal to seal all three points and delight many Gunners supporters in the process.

Whilst many enjoyed the one-two with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the subsequent lobbed finish into the net, it was his fantastic celebration which got fans talking on social media.
