Arsenal supporters have spotted the same thing in William Saliba's announcement video

William Saliba is an Arsenal player.

The deal taking the teenager to the Emirates Stadium - although he will be spending the 2019/2020 season on loan at Saint-Etienne -was confirmed just hours after Dani Ceballos was unveiled.

Just like the Spaniard, Saliba also had the option of joining the Gunners' bitter north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

But he's explained why he opted to chose Arsenal.

"Well, the history, the badge... since I was little, I've been watching Arsenal play in the Champions League and so on, and there are a lot of French players who have come through here," he told the club's official website.

"So that really helped me to make my mind up."

When Saliba spoke about watching Arsenal from when he was little, he isn't joking.

As the Gunners announced the signing of the 18-year-old with a 24-second video clip on Twitter, some eagle-eyed supporters spotted something very interesting.

It's Saliba in was seems to have been the very first Arsenal home kit from when they moved into the Emirates Stadium over a decade ago.

Take a look at what some fans said about the clip..
