Arsenal supporter 'works out the flight Nicolas Pepe was on' to finalise £72m transfer

Nicolas Pepe is in London.

That's according to various news outlets in England such as the BBC and Goal, meaning Arsenal supporters are getting very excited about the prospect of the Ivory Coast international becoming the club's new record signing.

The Lille winger is the chosen one by the Gunners amid links to the likes of Everton Soares, Wilfried Zaha, Yannick Carrasco, Ryan Fraser and Lucas Vazquez among other wide players this summer.

A deal worth a reported £72m is understood to be close to completion.

Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma - a former teammate of the 24-year-old - has taken to social media and hinted that Nicolas Pepe to Arsenal is a done deal.

Meanwhile, some Arsenal fans have spent the last few hours attempting to track his flight into London.

Of course there was no concrete way of knowing Pepe's flight details.

But that didn't stop fans doing a bit of research in the hope of following his journey from Lille to London Colney.

One fan in particular worked out Pepe arrived in London via a private jet at roughly 8:44 am.

Naturally this brought about some funny responses.
