We are now just over a month into the summer transfer window and Arsenal have been one of the most active Premier League clubs thus far.
Mikel Arteta's men missed out on UEFA Champions League qualification at the business end of last season but they have wasted no time in bouncing back during the summer window. The north London outfit have made four first-team additions to Arteta's squad, signing young winger Marquinhos, MLS veteran 'keeper Matt Turner, midfield prospect Fabio Vieira and proven goalscorer Gabriel Jesus.
And the Gunners have been hugely impressed by Jesus, according to The Independent, via HITC. It is claimed that the Brazilian international has already made a substantial impact around the club already, with the 25-year-old's undeniable ability exceeding some people's expectations.

The former Palmeiras star netted 13 goals and provided a further 12 assists in all competitions last season, a hugely impressive return when you consider the majority of his outings came from the wing as City boss Pep Guardiola typically deployed a false nine with Jesus operating on the right flank. The player himself as since made it no secret of his desire to play centrally during his spell with Arsenal.
“I’m a number nine,” Jesus told the club's official media team during his first interview after joining. “I’m a striker, you know.
“I’m so glad and I thank God every day that I can be alive, and that I can play in three or four different positions, but I think my position is nine.”
