Arsenal suffer Sead Kolasinac injury blow during first half of Everton clash

Arsenal have been dealt an injury blow after Sead Kolasinac left the field in the Premier League clash with Everton.

The Gunners went behind in the first minute after Dominic Calvert-Lewin struck with a fantastic over-head kick after a mistake in the Arsenal defence.

Matters were made worse halfway through the first half when Kolasinac walked off the field with a shoulder injury.

Kolasinac appeared to be in serious distress as he departed the game with what looks to be a serious shoulder problem.

The 26-year-old left-back was offered a warm reception as he went off before Bukayo Saka arrived off the bench and went on to assist Eddie Nketiah's equaliser with a fine cross from the left.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang then made it 2-1 to Arsenal after a fine pass from David Luiz.

Arsenal are hoping to close the gap between themselves and the top four, with the Gunners sitting ten points behind Chelsea ahead of the Everton fixture.
