Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette's three word response amid shock Barcelona links

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has broken his silence amid talk of a summer transfer to Bacelona.

Earlier in the month, reports in Spain claimed that the La Liga champions were considering a shock move for the France international as they look to provide competition to Luis Suarez in that centre-forward role.

Links to Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann - tipped to make the move to the Camp Nou last summer - have resurfaced but the Catalan giants are said to have a back-up plan should they fail to lure the 28-year-old.

According to Barcelona based publication  Mundo Deportivo , Lacazette's form this season is believed to have alerted the La Liga champions in regards to a potential move.

The Frenchman picked up the club's Player of the Year award after netting 19 goals as well as registering 10 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions this season.

Mundo Deportivo claim Lacazette is valued between €65-70million, although that fee could be lowered if they try to include one or both of Andre Gomes and Samuel Umtiti in the deal.

Some Arsenal fans took to Twitter to let their feelings be known that they are very much against losing yet another player to Barcelona .

But it would appear that Lacazette is not ruling anything out just yet.

"It is flattering!," he told Telefoot, as per Get French Football News when asked about the La Liga outfit's reported interest.

Gunners supporters will be hopeful that this afternoon's clash against Burnley isn't the last time Lacazette features in a league game for the club.
