Tottenham striker Richarlison has been tipped by his compatriot and north London rival Gabriel Jesus to challenge Mohamed Salah for the Golden Boot next season.
Richarlison signed for Spurs after completing a £60million move from Everton, becoming the club's fourth summer addition along with Yves Bissouma, Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic. Clement Lenglet and Djed Spence have also joined the club after the Brazilian striker as Antonio Conte strengthens his squad ahead of next season.
Richarlison's compatriot Jesus joined Arsenal in a £45million deal this summer and the pair will go head-to-head in the north London derby for the first time in October. The new Gunners striker has backed Richarlison to fight for the Golden Boot alongside the likes of Salah, Erling Haaland and new teammate Son Heung-min.

Jesus believes his Brazilian compatriot can challenge the league's best strikers next season. Speaking during Arsenal's pre-season tour of America, via the Mirror, the Gunners' forward said: "I hope that we can both end the season fighting for the Golden Boot because I like him."
Salah and Son shared the award for top Premier League goal scorer last term after the pair both finished on 23 goals. Jesus added: "He's a very good guy, amazing player, so I wish him all the best but not against us!"
Richarlison has not scored in either of his appearances for Spurs during pre-season, whilst Jesus has scored three times in two games so far. However, Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is backing his new frontman to come good.
"I think he is strong physically and a good personality, good character, good quality," Conte commented on the Brazilian after Spurs thrashed Team K League 6-3 last week. "For sure also for Richy in this period, he is working and we are working on the tactical aspects with him because he has to go into our idea.
"At the same time, we have to work on the physical aspects for him to be fit. For sure he is a player that gives me important positions up front, he's is a good player, strong and very good [at] protecting the ball and attacking the space. Also, he made a good assist, I'm very happy that we signed him."
Salah and Son shared the award for top Premier League goal scorer last term after the pair both finished on 23 goals. Richarlison would have needed to score more than double what he achieved season (10) to have won the Golden Boot.
