Arsenal star set for exit, Man United suffer de Gea blow - Premier League transfer rumours

The summer transfer window is heating up and edging close to getting into full swing.

Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs will all be looking to make moves in the market which allows them to get closer to Manchester City and Liverpool in the Premier League title race next season.

With that said, here is the latest round-up of rumours and gossip below.

De Gea blow

Manchester United are struggling to get a new deal over the line for David de Gea.

The Spanish keeper's contract runs out next summer and United are aiming to tie him down to a new agreement.

However, reports suggest that De Gea wants a salary increase and assurances that the team will compete next season.

Sky Sports are reporting that the Red Devils and De Gea are 'no closer' to resolving the shot-stopper's future.

Mkhitaryan set for Arsenal exit

Arsenal will offload Henrikh Mkhitaryan during the summer transfer window and bring an end to a disappointing stint at the Emirates, according to reports.

The Sun say that Mkhitaryan, who arrived at Arsenal as part of a swap deal for Alexis Sanchez back in 2018, is surplus to requirements under Unai Emery.

The 30-year-old is a high earner and with Mesut Ozil looking likely to stay, Arsenal are focused on getting as many high paid players out of the exit door as possible.

Man Utd stance on Lukaku

Man Utd are willing to let Romelu Lukaku leave Old Trafford this summer, according to ESPN.

But it has been reported that the Red Devils will not sanction a transfer on the cheap.

Inter Milan are reportedly interested in the Belgium striker amid Antonio Conte's imminent arrival at the club.

United paid Everton an initial fee of £75m for Lukaku in 2017, with Inter said to want a loan deal in the first instance before a permanent signing next summer.

West Ham name Cresswell price

West Ham United have reportedly named their price for Aaron Cresswell after links with Everton.

Cresswell could be allowed to leave West Ham and according to Football Insider, Everton may be able to land the defender for £8million.
