Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang trolls Manchester United fans after Phil Jones joke

Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has trolled Manchester United supporters in the wake of their 2-0 defeat to the Gunners last time out in the Premier League.

Prior to the game against Mikel Arteta's side, the Gabon international was filmed joking with a United supporter who claimed that defender Phil Jones would have him in his pocket.

"You’re getting no goals tomorrow innit," the fan told Aubameyang in a video that was uploaded to Twitter.

"No goals, no goals! Absolutely no chance. Phil Jones’ pocket, how about that!"

While Aubameyang didn't get on the score sheet, his side emerged victorious thanks to strikes from Nicolas Pepe and Sokratis Papastathopoulos.

It seems the 29-year-old didn't forget about his interaction with the United fan as he took to Instagram to have the last laugh.

He was asked the question by prominent Arsenal supporter DT: "Where's that Man United fan who was filming you last night?" and Aubameyang couldn't help but respond.

He wrote: "They are sleeping already," with a number of laughing face emojis.

The win took Arsenal to 10th place in the league, five points behind Manchester United in fifth.

United defender Harry Maguire admitted the Reds deserved to lose against the Gunners after the game.

He said: ""I think we are disappointed to go in 2-0 down at half-time because we should have weathered the storm.

"Especially don't concede from a set-play. When we are not playing great, do the basics well and doing the basics is heading the ball out of your box and keeping the ball out of your net.

"We knew going in at 2-0 at half-time the next goal was crucial, we had chances in the second-half, but we deserved to lose, we weren't good enough. We have got to improve for next week."
