Arsenal star Kieran Tierney says Celtic always 'rise up to challenge' and will win 10-in-a-row

KIeran Tierney believes Celtic will win 10-in-a-row this season because they always "rise up to the challenge".

The former Celtic left-back is a fans favourite at Arsenal, having been named Player of the Month for June by fans and picked up an FA Cup winner's medal in his first season.

The 23-year-old was instrumental in five of Celtic's nine successive league wins, and believes Neil Lennon's side can finish the job.

Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, Tierney said: "I'm very confident in the boys the now.

"I think the winning mentality and what they've done over the last nine years is incredible, and for once you can actually talk about winning 10-in-a-row.

"You're not really allowed to speak about it if you've not won eight or you've not won nine. Now it's going to happen, now it's this year. Everybody's excited.

"It's going to be tough. There's going to be so many challenges on the way. Everybody's out to stop you. Everybody's out to stop Celtic.

"Celtic know that, and Celtic just rise up to the challenge every time they're asked, and I think that's going to be the difference."

Scotland international Tierney joined Arsenal for £25m in 2019.
