Former England international Jack Wilshere has admitted that Muirhouse star Kieran Tierney is the fastest player at Arsenal.
Wilshere is currently training with Premier League club Arsenal, who he made headlines with at the start of his career.
He's been working alongside Tierney as he bids to find a new club and take on some coaching badges.
Tierney has been a revelation for Arsenal since his 2019 move to the Gunners from Celtic, with fans of the Emirates club taking kindly to him.
An insight into the Muirhouse man has been provided by Wilshere, who was surprised to learn Tierney is the fastest player in Mikel Arteta's squad.
"We were doing a sprint test," Wilshere told Football London.
"I asked the fitness guy ‘who is the fastest player, is it Aubameyang’ and he said ‘no it’s Kieran Tierney ’ – it surprised me."
These claims were verified by sports analysts STAT Sports, who have announced that Tierney's top speed is currently 37.51 kilometres per-hour, or roughly between 22-23 miles per-hour.
The left-back has become an integral player for Arsenal while he is also a mainstay at centre-back for Scotland head coach Steve Clarke on the international scene.
