Aaron Ramsey is expected to confirm he will join Juventus next season even though other clubs remain interested in buying the Arsenal midfielder.
Reports in Italy claim the 28-year-old has signed a pre-contract agreement with the Serie A champions after undergoing the first part of a medical in London last weekend.
However, while Juve remain firm favourites to sign Ramsey, Standard Sport understands the Welshman has a choice between two clubs after narrowing his options down from six interested parties over the past month.
Paris St Germain, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich have all expressed an interest in Ramsey, while Barcelona and Real Madrid were also keeping tabs on the situation but are not thought to be involved at this stage.
Ramsey’s existing agreement with Arsenal expires at the end of the season after the club withdrew their offer of an extension in September following a lack of progress in talks for several months.
Juventus are confident they have won the race to sign the midfielder but his representatives insist a decision is yet to be made and stopped short of confirming the identity of the other club in the frame for his signature.
