Arsenal squad revealed for Man City as Mikel Arteta confirms Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang decision

Arsenal are looking to end Manchester City's 10-match winning streak when the two sides come head-to-head at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.

The Gunners, though, will be without Mikel Arteta on the sidelines after the manager tested positive for Covid-19 earlier in the week, with Albert Stuivenberg set to take charge this afternoon.

However, Arteta will not be able to watch some of his players from the comfort of his own living room, with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Calum Chambers, Cedric Soares and Sead Kolasinac, all set to be missing.

Aubameyang has already joined up with the Gabon international squad ahead of this month's Africa Cup of Nations campaign, with Arteta confirming the news on Friday.

He said: "We had a letter from the national team asking for the player. The player wasn’t gonna get involved today, so for his fitness and to keep him competing, it was the right thing to do."

Meanwhile, Tomiyasu, Chambers and Cedric all tested positive for Covid-19 recently and are set to be unavailable, but Ainsley Maitland-Niles has been training ahead of the match. Kolasinac is still sidelined with an ankle problem.

So, with that being said, football.london takes a look at the squad Arsenal are set to have available to them for this afternoon's Premier League game.
