Arsenal have been one of the busiest Premier League clubs in the 2021 summer transfer window so far.
With just one day remaining of the window, the Gunners have completed five new signings at the time of writing, with Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Ben White, Martin Odegaard and Aaron Ramsdale all arriving at the Emirates Stadium for a combined total of around £132million.
However, considering Arsenal's awful start to the 2021/22 season - with 2-0 defeats to both Brentford and Chelsea and then a 5-0 defeat against Manchester City - Edu could be looking to add further reinforcements before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
The likes of Houssem Aouar, Kieran Trippier and Marco Asensio have been linked with a move to the Gunners in recent days, but nothing concrete seems to be on the table just yet.
If Arsenal were to complete any late deals in the remaining days of the window, then fans may be wondering what number their new signing(s) would take.

The numbers 18, 27, 28 and 32 are all free as it stands for any new signings to take.
The No. 8 was vacant until very recently when Odegaard completed his permanent move to north London.
But the No. 32, previously worn by Emile Smith Rowe before he signed a new long-term contract and was rewarded the No. 10 shirt, is free for anyone who should come in over the next few days.
The three players mainly linked with a move to Arsenal recently - Aouar, Trippier and Asensio - currently wear the numbers eight, 23 and 11 at Lyon, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, respectively.
