Lucas Torreira has returned to training as Arsenal step up their return to Premier League football, while youngster Trae Coyle has been seen training with the first-team.
While there has been speculation regarding the Uruguayan's future in recent weeks, Torreira looked in high spirits as he trained alongside his team-mates at London Colney.
Arteta's squad are now preparing to face Manchester City on June 17 as the Premier League has officially confirmed its restart date.
Premier League clubs have now resumed contact training after they unanimously voted in favour of doing so earlier in the week.
Where players were previously limited to training in socially-distanced small groups, the agreement of stage two protocols means tackles and aerial duels will now be allowed, alongside actions which cannot be done under social distancing guidelines.
And Torreira - who has been heavily linked with a move to AC Milan this summer - joined the squad for the first time.
Elsewhere, academy star Trae Coyle has joined up with the squad.
The 19-year-old versatile attacker has represented Arsenal's youth teams at all levels after joining the club at the age of eight.
And with the Premier League discussing the possibility of permitting up to five substitutions per game, a format the German Bundesliga have adopted, the youngster may just get a chance to make an impact.
With Arsenal set to have limited funds this summer due to the financial impacts of the coronavirus pandemic, Coyle - who has also been joined by fellow academy prospect Matt Smith - will be looking to make the most of a glorious opportunity.
