Arsenal are reportedly ready to capitalise on the turmoil at Inter Milan by tabling a bid for versatile Morocco international Achraf Hakimi.
The Gunners have monitored the 22-year-old since his days at Real Madrid's academy and he remains high on their wish list.
Hakimi has been a star performer for Inter this season, featuring in all but one of their Serie A fixtures to help the Nerazzurri rise to the top of the table.
But, like many of his teammates, Hakimi's future is uncertain due to the tumultuous situation at San Siro, with Inter's owners weighing up their future involvement with the club.
Suning Holdings Group have already shut down Jiangsu FC only months after they lifted the Chinese Super League.
There are concerns the Chinese company may also be looking to scale back their operation at Inter, which they own a 68.55 per cent stake of.
The Italian club's chairman, Steven Zhang, insists this is not the case but there is growing speculation Inter will look to raise funds by selling a number of stars.

Hakimi is one such player and will be available for £40million this summer, reports The Telegraph .
The player would be open to the move so long as his £75,000-per-week wages are matched, and Arsenal see him as a priority right-back target.
The Gunners' long-serving defender Hector Bellerin is linked with a move to Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain this summer, while back-up option Ainsley Maitland-Niles joined West Brom on loan in January after playing a minor role in the first half of the season.
Should Bellerin and Maitland-Niles leave the Emirates this summer, it would leave Cedric Soares as Arsenal's only right-back.
But the north London club will face competition for Hakimi from rivals Chelsea, the report adds.
The Blues see him as an option on the right of midfield, where he is frequently deployed at Inter by Antonio Conte and has contributed six goals and six assists.
