Arsenal will face Barcelona at the Nou Camp this summer as part of their build-up to the new Premier League season.
The Gunners will travel to the Catalan giant's home on August 4, a week before their domestic campaign opener against Newcastle United.
The clash will play host to the 54th annual Joan Gamper Trophy.
It will be the first time the Gunners have taken part in the traditional curtain raiser at the Nou Camp, with Barca winning the last seven versions of the friendly.
Manchester City are the only English side to win the trophy, back in 2009, with Tottenham , Nottingham Forest, Ipswich and Aston Villa previously taking part.
Arsenal don't have a great competitive record against Barcelona , having won once in nine clashes against each other.
Unai Emery's men already have pre-season friendlies lined up all around the world.
They will start their preparations with their traditional clash with Boreham Wood at Meadow Park, which will likely be largely made up of youth players on July 6.
Arsenal will then pack up to fly across the Atlantic to face Colorado Rapids at DICK's Sporting Goods Park on July 16, before facing Bayern Munich at Dignity Health Sports Park two days later.
A further two days on and Emery and co will be tackling Fiorentina at the Bank of America Stadium.
They round off their USA tour, and International Champions Cup fixtures, with a glittering tie against Real Madrid at FedExField.
The Gunners then return home to face Lyon at the Emirates Stadium in the Emirates Cup before a trip to France to tackle Angers, before their Barca date.
