Arsenal have been sent a warning over Manchester United's current system of play ahead of their trip to Old Trafford this weekend.
United prepared for Sunday's Premier League clash against the Gunners with an impressive 5-0 Champions League win over RB Leipzig on Wednesday night.
Marcus Rashford scored a hat-trick with Mason Greenwood and Anthony Martial also getting on the scoresheet in a comprehensive display from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men.
The Reds have now won both of their Champions League group stage games, beating PSG away from home last week to kick off their Champions League campaign in style.
Following Wednesday night's thrashing of Leipzig, former United midfielder Owen Hargreaves outlined why United may have found the perfect system ahead of their Arsenal clash.
“I think this shape suits Man United’s forward players - not natural number nines but attackers who split and they can run those channels," he told BT Sport.
"They’re unplayable. With the weight of pass from Bruno Fernandes and Pogba, that was really a defensive masterclass from United.”
Hargreaves also spoke about Rashford's hat-trick and the wealth of attacking options Solskjaer has at his disposal.
"He’s a fabulous player," the former Bayern midfielder added. "The speed of thought from Bruno Fernandes to play that ball at the right time.
"United have so many options now at the top of the pitch. Ole’s tweaked it and changed it - they defend really well and when they need to bring the flair players on and affect the game, they’ve done it and it’s worked the last three games.”
Man United are down in 15th place in the Premier League after their first five games, two points behind Arsenal, but they do have a game in-hand.
