Mikel Arteta is under pressure to strengthen his Arsenal side this summer ahead of a big season for the Spaniard.
But with no European football on offer at the Emirates, Arteta and co. are up against it trying to attract players capable of dragging the Gunners back into the Champions League.

And the Spaniard's work isn't quite done yet. Here are six players currently linked with a transfer to Arsenal - and we've rated the likelihood they'll join the club before the summer window slams shut.
Tammy Abraham - Likely
Looks like he's angling for a new contract with Aston Villa and Manchester United also potential destinations. Arteta likes him and he could join if the club sells one of their current senior strikers.
Houssem Aouar - Unlikely
No contact or bid since last summer but clearly a player Arteta likes.
Aaron Ramsdale - Likely
Arsenal have made two offers for the Sheffield United goalkeeper and he has emerged as the top goalkeeper choice for Arteta.

James Maddison - Possible
The major sticking point is the fee. It's a deal that could happen later in the window dependent on player sales. The player would be open to joining.
Andre Onana - Small chance
Initial interest in January and further enquiries this summer, but Arsenal haven't pursued a deal for the goalkeeper yet.
Sergino Dest - Small chance
Another player Mikel Arteta likes but a transfer is unlikely to materialise in this summer's window.
