Arsenal's retro 'bruised banana' kit is available and on sale today

Throughout this summer, Arsenal fans rejoiced when kit manufacturers Adidas confirmed designs for this year's yellow away shirt.

Now, as we head into the festive season, the 'bruised banana' jersey - along with a wider range that includes track tops and crewneck sweatshirts - is available to buy.

The kit is modelled off Arsenal's infamous Adidas Originals jersey worn during the 1991-92 season and 1992-93 season.

Club legends Ian Wright and Nigel Winterburn, along with current stars including Hector Bellerin and Alexander Lacazette, all feature in the #HereToCreate campaign and subsequent music video used to launch the kit's availability.

The timing of the announcement, a day after the Gunners recorded their first victory in 10 attempts, was not lost on many on social media.

For the most part, however, the reception has been positive and continues on from the praise it received prior to the start of the season.

Where to buy?

Arsenal's bruised banana jersey will be available through Arsenal's official online store as well as the Adidas website.

Elsewhere on the official club store, 'seasonal offers' are currently available - as too are 20% savings on nightwear, underwear and socks and their 'leisure range'.

And, lastly, special Christmas offers can also be found on both Stadium and Matchday tours as well VIP Legend Experiences. Click here to find out more.
