Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's Arsenal future has been a topic of conversation for some time now.
The Gabon international joined the Gunners in January 2018 from Borussia Dortmund, but throughout his time in North London he has been a rumoured target of teams from across Europe.
The team linked the strongest in the January transfer window were Barcelona, who are said to be searching for a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan striker is currently recovering from a serious knee injury, and could potentially play again this season - though he may decide to opt for caution and delay a comeback until after the summer.
However, Suarez is now 33 and the Spanish club are still eyeing a replacement, with Aubameyang linked. But that seems to have gone cold, with Inter star Lautaro Martinez apparently becoming their top target.
If Barca were to sign the young star from Inter, it could pave the way for the Serie A side to make a move for Aubameyang, according to the Mirror.
They state that with Aubameyang's contract running out at the end of the 2020/21 season, Arsenal are ready to take a tough stance if he is not ready to commit to a new deal, with an offer of £350,000-per-week said to have already been rejected.
Arsenal are hoping to avoid situations where players enter the final year of their contract, so that deals like the one that took Aaron Ramsey to Juventus on a free transfer can be avoided.
Inter boss Antonio Conte is said to be keen on Aubameyang after signing the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Christian Eriksen and Alexis Sanchez (on loan) from the Premier League already.
However, Arsenal will apparently be asking for £70million to part ways with their captain, a fee which could prove a stumbling block for the 30-year-old.
