Arsenal's Europa League fixtures have been confirmed, with the Gunners facing an away trip to Eintracht Frankfurt up first.
Travel for European games can take a huge toll on players, so making long trips in midweek can tend to have an effect on the upcoming Premier League games, and how the team performs at the weekend.
With that in mind, here are how Arsenal's fixtures are looking following their Europa League away days.
19 Sep - Eintracht Frankfurt - Away
22 Sep - Aston Villa - Home
What looks on paper the Gunners' most difficult game of the Europa League group stage is up first on Thursday September 19, and they follow it up with a home game against Aston Villa.
The Villans have started the season brightly, recovering from a late loss against Spurs on the opening weekend and a defeat to Bournemouth with a rousing win against Everton.
7 Nov - Vitoria - Away
9 Nov - Leicester City - Away
An odd one here, as Vitoria have to play their home matches on a Wednesday. Arsenal's following game is a trip to face Leicester, but it has not yet been pencilled in due to TV rights.
However, with the Europa League contest taking place on a Wednseday, this may not necessarily be moved to a Sunday or Monday.
12 Dec - Standard Liege - Away
14 Dec - Manchester City - Home
The final game of the Europa League group stage is a short trip to Belgium to face Standard Liege. And while it's followed up with a home game, they do not come much tougher than against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side.
As with the Leicester game, this encounter has not yet been fully scheduled. However, this one will be moved to either the Sunday or Monday immediately after.
