Arsenal's Petr Cech trolls Manchester United legend Gary Neville as he confirms his future plans

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has revealed his plans for the next step of his career, firing shots at Manchester United legend Gary Neville in the process.

The veteran stopper is hanging up his gloves at the end of the season and What Arsenal's Petr Cech has said about facing Chelsea in Europa League final in the Europa League final, as he aims to steer the Gunners towards a European trophy and Champions League football next season.

The 36-year-old sees his contract at the Emirates Stadium expire at the end of the season and will retire, despite some calls for him to continue his career, and he has revealed he plans to go into coaching.

However, Cech is setting his sights high and admitted he may not live up to his own expectations - pointing out Neville’s failures at Valencia as an example.

“I’ve had so many people calling me with all sorts of coaching and playing offers but I want to make sure the season finishes as well as possible before I make any decisions,” he told the Sun.

“I’m doing my coaching badges and I’m keeping my options open. I don’t want to be a goalkeeping coach. I want to be a coach in charge of the team.

“I think I could cope with all the dressing-room egos, but everyone who goes into coaching thinks the same.

“Look at Gary Neville, for example. When you listen to him talking football you think, ‘Wow, this guy knows his stuff’. But then he goes into coaching and it’s a complete disaster.”

Neville was sacked by Valencia in March 2016 after winning just three of 16 league matches in charge of the La Liga side, where his side also failed to keep a clean sheet, and has remained in punditry since.
