Arsenal's next two transfers decided after Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber moves

Arsenal have been extremely active during the first few weeks of the summer transfer window.

Mikel Arteta's side have already announced the signing of Kai Havertz from Chelsea in a £65million deal. The Gunners have since agreed a deal to sign West Ham United captain Declan Rice for a club-record £105million.

Rice is said to be undergoing a medical in north London later this week ahead of his imminent move after the two London clubs finally agreed on a payment structure for the transfer. In terms of defensive recruitment, a deal to sign Jurrien Timber from Ajax is also advanced.

The versatile 22-year-old will likely cost the north London outfit around £40million, somewhat of a steal when you look at the inflated state of the market. Once deals for Rice and Timber are sealed, it could be a case of sanctioning player's exits from the Emirates Stadium.

Granit Xhaka is set to join Bayer Leverkusen for £21.5million, football.london understands whilst Thomas Partey's future remains uncertain, as per transfer guru Fabrizio Romano. Writing for Caughtoffside, Romano said: "Thomas Partey has interest from Juventus and from Saudi clubs, but as of now, this is still nothing advanced.

"There has also been a verbal agreement for Granit Xhaka to join Bayer Leverkusen, which has been in place since May. It’s very advanced, but now it’s up to Arsenal, they will look to resolve the final details of the Rice story and then decide on Xhaka and Partey.”

What do you make of Declan Rice's value?
