After finishing last season as runners up to Chelsea, Arsenal are back in the Europa League and the hunt for Champions League football in 2020.
It has been a story of year-on-year progression for the Gunners in Europe's second tier club competition without quite getting what they want.
They lost to Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals in 2018 under Arsene Wenger before Unai Emery saw his chance to lift the Europa League trophy for a fourth time dashed by Maurizio Sarri and Chelsea.
With his contract as Arsenal head coach near its end, the Spaniard must do all he can to achieve his targets this season, and a cup win and a return to the Champions League would do just that.
Despite their loss to the Blues, the Gunners were picked out of pot one as a top seed for the group stages of the 2019/20 Europa League, alongside the likes of Manchester United and Sevilla.
Wolverhampton Wanderers are the third English side in contention having progressed through the qualifying stages after their seventh-placed finish last year in the Premier League.
