Arsenal's best case scenario against Leicester City that still won't be enough for Unai Emery

Arsenal are back in Premier League action on Saturday as they take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

The Gunners go into the game in fifth place in the Premier League table with 17 points from their opening 11 games, six points behind their opponents and Chelsea, who are in fourth.

Unai Emery's men have not won in the league since a 1-0 win over Bournemouth at the start of October, and have lost leads in their last four games in all competitions.

Home draws against Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanders in their last two matches has increased the pressure on Emery, with Champions League qualification the main target for the season.

Their opponents on the other hand are going into the game as one of the most in form teams in the league, having won their last four games in all competitions.

While a win would come as a welcome boost for Arsenal and Emery, as worked out by @Possible_tables on Instagram, even a positive result for the Gunners wouldn't make any difference to their standing in the table.

The best possible position that Arsenal can end the weekend in is fifth place, their current position.

However, should Arsenal lose the match, they could see themselves as low as ninth in the table, with Crystal Palace, Brighton and Hove Albion, Bournemouth and Sheffield United able to overtake them.
