Arsenal's £33m target shines against Manchester City as Miguel Azeez loan branded a waste of time

Welcome to our football.london The Arsenal Way daily news round-up. Maybe not the first, we've definitely done transfer round-ups before, and European round-ups, so I guess in some ways it's not that new at all. Anyway, we thought we would enter the world of football in a broad and roundabout manner for you and have some fun with some of the stories and captions doing the daily rounds.

Fans tell Arsenal to ‘sign-up’ Brugge star

Manchester City faced Club Brugge in the Champions on Tuesday evening, beating the Belgium side 5-1 on the night.

But, there was one Arsenal target that caught the eye of fans, who described him as a ‘baller’ and hoping the player would sign for the north London club.

Noa Lang has long been linked with a move to Arsenal and fans were excited about what he could bring to the Gunners.

It was reported last week by Voetbal24 that Arsenal are preparing a £25 million bid for the winger, however, they may need to fend off the likes of AC Milan and Leeds, with Brugge valuing the player at around £33 million.

Although it wasn’t Lang’s best performance against the Citizens, Arsenal fans sure were impressed with the Dutchman's ability.

Ramsdale revels in throw in duty

Aaron Ramsdale took a throw-in, two actually during the Gunners fixture against Crystal Palace on Monday evening. Yes, you read that right.

The player took to Instagram to post a picture of him taking a throw-in, writing: “Not something you get to do every weekend”.

The cameras didn’t show him in all his throw-in duty glory, but Ramsdale made sure to remind us of how versatile he really is since his arrival from Sheffield United in the summer transfer window.

Miguel Azeez loan questioned

Miguel Azeez has been regarded as a bright prospect for Arsenal and just like many clubs now do, youngsters are sent out on loans to get minutes under their belt.

But, after being loaned to Portsmouth, the 20-year-old has played less than 60 minutes of football at the League One club.

Portsmouth manager, Danny Cowley named him on the substitutes bench on Tuesday evening but the youngster didn’t appear in their 4-0 win against Ipswich Town.

Arsenal fans aren’t happy and want the player recalled in January before being sent elsewhere on loan, as his time at Pompey is regarded as a ‘waste of time’.
