KV Oostende are keen to land current Kilmarnock star Zech Medley for next season.
The Belgium side, who are pushing to qualify for Europe, has already struck gold by taking Jack Hendry on-loan from Celtic this season.
They are now hoping to line up a similar move to take Medley from Arsenal for the 2021-22 campaign.
Medley is currently on-loan at Kilmarnock until the end of the season, but KV has already opened talks with the Gunners over a move for the new term.
The 20-year-old, who still has a long-term contract with the Gunners, moved to Rugby Park in January.
KV use a recruitment tool similar to the ‘Moneyball’ statistical approach and that is what has brought Medley on to their radar.
Oostende are currently in talks to take up the option to sign Hendry on a permanent basis.
Hendry, who has already picked up player of the year awards in Belgium, has put in some impressive displays and that won him a Scotland recall for the recent World Cup qualifiers against Austria and Israel.
