Arsenal reveal Black Lives Matter and NHS tribute kit ahead of Manchester City clash

Arsenal have unveiled their match kit for Wednesday’s Premier League clash against Manchester City featuring messages of support for the Black Lives Matter campaign and the NHS.

Premier League players will have their names replaced by 'Black Lives Matter' in the opening round of fixtures this week in recognition of the anti-racism movement sweeping the globe.

A Black Lives Matter logo will also feature on Premier League shirts for the remainder of the season, along with a heart-shaped badge thanking the NHS for their work during the coronavirus pandemic.

Arsenal have released images of their third choice kit set to be worn at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The Gunners head to Manchester looking to haul themselves back into the race for a top four finish. They restart their season eight points behind fourth place Chelsea.

City meanwhile are looking to consolidate second place with Liverpool two wins away from winning the title.
