Arsenal release images of special font on back of kit for FA Cup final vs Chelsea

Arsenal are gearing up for their biggest match under Mikel Arteta so far as they prepare to clash with London rivals Chelsea in Saturday's FA Cup final.

The showcase finale to the domestic season in English football will take place behind closed doors this year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Both sides have already encountered Wembley Stadium without fans in attendance, having beaten Manchester City and Manchester United respectively in their semi-final clashes.

The Gunners know that it isn't just pride and the trophy at stake, as victory would also seal Europa League football for Arsenal next season.

The importance of the match, therefore, cannot be overestimated and Arsenal will have a new look for the match as they wear their recently revealed home shirt of the 2020/21 season.

Adidas' kit will also have another difference for the match, as Arsenal have shown pictures of the retro style they will use on the back of the players' shirts.

The Gunners have shown the font on the jerseys of Kieran Tierney and goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, with the latter having a black shirt with white font.
