Coutinho reports back to Barca training
Reported Arsenal target Philippe Coutinho has returned to Barcelona training for the first time since arriving back from Bayern Munich.
Coutinho spent the 2019-20 season on loan at the Allianz Arena and helped Bayern win their sixth Champions League title.
However, the former Liverpool star - who has been linked with a move to the Gunners - returned to training on Friday.
Barca have a new manager in Ronald Koeman, and these training sessions could be a chance for Coutinho to show his abilities to his new boss and force his way back into the first-team.
Saka reacts to PFA nomination
Arsenal starlet Bukayo Saka has reacted to being named as one of the nominations for the PFA Young Player of the Year award.
Saka had a fantastic breakthrough season at the Gunners - finishing the campaign on four goals and 11 assists in 38 games across all competitions.
The other nominees are Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The 18-year-old quote tweeted Arsenal’s official Twitter account with two smiley face emojis, clearly delighted with the nomination.
Five things spotted in Arsenal training
In just over a weeks’ time, Arsenal will return to Premier League action, as they kick off the season with their trip to newly-promoted Fulham.
The Gunners are now back in full training, preparing for top-flight action once again, and football.london has spotted five things to take note of from the sessions.
Mesut Ozil is back training, with his future still in the spotlight, Andreas Georgson - who has recently joined Arsenal’s coaching staff - is with his new side.
As well as this, the Gunners squad are in excellent spirits following two recent trophy lifts, Emiliano Martinez has been kept on his toes, and young left-back Tolaji Bola was involved in the session.
