Arsenal have provided the latest on Emile Smith Rowe's injury ahead of Saturday's clash with Burnley.
The Gunners head to Turf Moor hoping to make it three straight wins after beating Leicester City in the Premier League and Benfica in the Europa League.
But ahead of that clash with Sean Dyche's men, Arsenal were dealt a potential injury setback with midfielder Smith Rowe forced off in the first half against Leicester at the King Power Stadium last time out.
The 20-year-old, who has been ken to Arsenal's revival following their disastrous start to the season, had to be replaced by loan star Martin Odegaard.
And heading into the clash with Burnley, it remains unclear whether Smith Rowe will be fit to play, but there is some positive news with scans showing 'no significant injury'.
"Emile was substituted just before half time at Leicester City last Sunday with discomfort in his hip," a club update read. "Assessments and scans this week have shown that it is not a significant injury.
"Emile will be assessed and checked regarding his availability ahead of Saturday’s match."
Mikel Arteta will be sweating on the fitness of Smith Rowe, but he will get his back-up goalkeeper back with Alex Runar Runarsson cleared to be included in the squad for Saturday.
"Alex has recovered from a strain to his (left) knee is now back in full training," added the club update.
Runarsson has only played once in the Premier League since arriving from Dijon in September, starting the clash with Wolves in February.
The Icelandic stopper is the Gunners' number two, behind Bernd Leno, and he will likely start from the bench against Burnley this weekend.
