Arsenal provide Amazon the perfect selling point that details the heart of Mikel Arteta project

When it was announced that Arsenal would be the focus of the 2021/22 Amazon: All or Nothing series, there was much discussion about what the Gunners could achieve in a season with so much expectation after an expensive summer transfer window.

Arsenal have one main goal and that is to re-establish itself at the top table of English football. To do that, the first step is to qualify for the Champions League. Without any Europa League football this season the club need to finish in the top four to achieve that goal.

The comedy for Arsenal supporters when Tottenham were the focus of the series under Jose Mourinho in 2019/20 was the ‘Nothing’ in the title was appropriate for what Spurs ended up with.

Arsenal are out of both cup competitions granted, however, achieving a top-four finish this season would be the ‘All’ that the title defines with the entry into Europe’s elite competition bringing so much financial and competitive reward to the club.

However, throughout the series, finding moments of highs and lows will surely not be in short supply and yesterday’s last-gasp win over Wolves will certainly be one to watch out for.

Trailing after a poor back pass from Gabriel Magalhaes allowed Hwang Hee-chan to score. Nicolas Pepe, a player left out of the first team for the majority of the season due to Bukayo Saka’s strong form, levelled the match to seemingly save a point for Arsenal.

However, Alexandre Lacazette was on hand in the final couple minutes of added time to force in the winner allowing Arsenal to take all three points.

The win gives Arsenal a huge push towards their goal of achieving the top four. They sit just one point off fourth place but with two games in hand over Manchester United.

The win also lifted them three points above West Ham United who have played two more matches than the Gunners. Meanwhile, Spurs’ loss to Burnley in midweek means Arsenal have a healthy six-point lead on their north London rivals.

Speaking during the latest Fans' Forum, Director of Media, Communications and Community Affairs Mark Gonnella explained what fans could expect from the Amazon documentary series.

“The way the club behaves will be portrayed in an incredibly powerful way, and that was the main reason we signed up for this,” he said.

“To show the world how this amazing machine called Arsenal works. It will give everybody an insight that they have hitherto never had.”

If the ‘amazing machine’ that is Arsenal can achieve a top-four finish, it would represent a giant leap in the direction that the club needs to go in and leave supporters will 'All' the hope for further progression that perhaps 'Nothing' can stop.
