Hector Bellerin, Kieran Tierney and Mesut Ozil to start - Arsenal predicted XI vs Standard Liege

Arsenal return to Europa League action this evening as they welcome Standard Liege to the Emirates Stadium.

The campaign got off to the best possible start for the Gunners who recorded a 3-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, and they'll be hoping to get a result to put themselves in a very strong position to qualify from the group.

It's only been three days since the 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford, and with a clash with Bournemouth coming up this weekend, it's likely that Unai Emery will be looking to rotate his squad.

With that, it appears that there could be room for a number of Arsenal's promising youngsters.

There's also likely to be an opportunity for those coming back from injury and those looking to recapture their form.

The most likely could be Nicolas Pepe, who will be bidding to recover his form after a disappointing outing at Old Trafford. His possible position in the side might otherwise have gone to Emile Smith Rowe but the young playmaker is not expected to be available after suffering a concussion last week against Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup.

Smith Rowe is not the only highly-regarded youngster who might have featured in cup competitions who is set to miss out with Tyreece John-Jules also recovering from the injury that is likely to sideline him for around three more weeks.

Reiss Nelson, Mesut Ozil and Gabriel Martinelli could make up the rest of the attack whilst Arsenal's midfield is likely to include Joe Willock, confined to the substitute's bench at Old Trafford with one from Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi and Granit Xhaka vying to join him in the side.

Emery's most significant changes are likely to come in defence, where it is understood that Hector Bellerin is set to make his first start since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in January. Rob Holding and Kieran Tierney could also line up alongside him with Shkodran Mustafi rounding out the defence.

Predicted Arsenal XI:  Martinez; Bellerin, Mustafi, Holding, Tierney; Torreira, Willock; Pepe, Ozil, Nelson; Martinelli
