Arsenal player ratings vs Norwich as Calum Chambers and David Luiz struggle

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice as Freddie Ljungberg's Arsenal earned a hard-fought point at Norwich.

Teemu Pukki fired the hosts in front with a 21st-minute effort that took a big deflection off Shkodran Mustafi.

Arsenal quickly had a chance to level the scoreline when Christoph Zimmermann was penalised for handball and the Gunners were awarded a penalty.

Tim Krul saved Aubameyang's initial spot-kick, but the Arsenal skipper made no mistake after VAR intervened to order a retake for encroachment.

But the Canaries retook the lead in first-half stoppage time through Todd Cantwell.

Having cancelled out Norwich's opener, Aubameyang was at it again in the 57th minute.

The ball found its way to the Gabon international from a corner and he fired home another equaliser from just outside the six-yard box.

Here's how they rated rated:

Arsenal

Leno 7

Must get nightmares playing behind Arsenal’s defence. Made three fabulous saves.

Chambers 5

Booked. Off the pace, all the problems came down his side, Hernandez gave him first half.

Mustafi 5

If Emery had picked Mustafi, fans would be going crazy. Struggled badly.

Luiz 5

Dragged all over the place and never seemed to be in position to defend.

Kolasinac 6

Familiar problem of being great going forward but was exposed defensively.

Guendouzi 6

In the wars as he took several heavy blows, plenty of energy but lacks

Xhaka 6

Has his limitations. But Arsenal look more secure with him in midfield. Yes, really.

Willock 6

Lost possession in build-up to Norwich’s first goal. Drove forward but limited effect.

Ozil 6

Started brightly, but guess what? Faded when the going got tough. Frustrating.

Lacazette 6

Showed great strength and hold-up play was good but never looked like scoring.

Aubameyang 7

Where on earth would Arsenal be without him? In the relegation zone, probably.

Substitutes: Torreira, for Willock, 71 mins, Saka, for Guendouzi, 78 mins
