Arsenal picture special: Ozil, Aubameyang & Torreira face the media ahead of Europa League final

This week has seen Arsenal step up their preparations for the Europa League final against Chelsea.

The first-team squad - including young duo Xavier Amaechi and Bukayo Saka - returned to training on Tuesday after being given the weekend off by Unai Emery and beat Austrian side LASK Linz 6-0 at London Colney in a friendly on Thursday afternoon.

football.london contacted Arsenal about the game.

And while no information about the scorers has been released because it was not deemed to be an official friendly match, a club source confirmed there were no injuries and that Danny Welbeck featured.

Before the game against LASK Linz, several players were selected to speak to the media to offer their thoughts on the club's first European final in over a decade.

Among those selected was the in-form Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Sokratis, Lucas Torreira and Mesut Ozil, who is in line to start against the Blues following confirmation that Henrikh Mkhitaryan won't be travelling to Baku, Azerbaijan.

Alex Iwobi also faced the media and he said something all Arsenal fans will love ahead of the other European final taking place next week.

"We're not trying to focus on Tottenham to be fair, I actually hope they lose," he told Sky Sports.

"We're not trying to look at them, they've done well to be fair, you have to give it to them, but we want to focus on ourselves and bring a trophy back."
