Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil's Aaron Ramsey tweet is reducing fans to tears

Arsenal fans have been left in tears after Mesut Ozil's latest Q&A session on social media.

The Gunners outcast, who has been left out in the cold by boss Mikel Arteta, entertained questions from Gunners supporters on his Twitter account on Wednesday evening.

It is something he has done frequently in recent months, especially since he has been left out of Arsenal's 25-man Premier League squad for what Arteta has described as "football reasons".

That explanation has been hard for supporters to take, with their team languishing in 15th place in the Premier League and suffering from a lack of creativity they know that Ozil can provide.

Another man Arsenal fans quite clearly miss is Wales star Aaron Ramsey, who left on a free transfer in 2019 to join Serie A giants Juventus.

In his question and answer session, Ozil was asked about his former team-mate, and his response raked over old wounds for Gunners fans.

"Amazing player, good friend, He's been a fantastic teammate @aaronramsey," he tweeted.

The post prompted at outpouring of emotion from the Arsenal faithful.

Ramsey and Ozil were a good partnership under Arsene Wenger, combining frequently to produce some superb football at the Emirates Stadium.

Their flair, creativity and guile have been lacking under Arteta, who played with both under the Frenchman in north London.

Ramsey is now with Juventus in Serie A and enjoying life in Italy.

Ozil, meanwhile, has been forced to look on Arsenal have toiled in the top flight - with Arteta under pressure to turn results around.

Asked whether he was happy at Arsenal by a fan, Ozil replied: "It’s a very difficult time for everyone around the club – not just for me.

"The situation is frustrating for everyone. Of course I would wish I could help the team especially right now, but as long as I don’t get the chance I just hope that we get better results very soon again.

"But let's stay positive."
